{"id":78518,"date":"2025-06-24T16:51:16","date_gmt":"2025-06-24T11:51:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=78518"},"modified":"2025-06-24T16:51:16","modified_gmt":"2025-06-24T11:51:16","slug":"lhc-rejects-bail-applications-of-former-pm-imran-khan-in-9th-may-cases","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/lhc-rejects-bail-applications-of-former-pm-imran-khan-in-9th-may-cases\/","title":{"rendered":"LHC rejects bail applications of Imran Khan in 9th May cases"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: The Lahore High Court <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/nawaz-sharif-arrives-in-lahore-after-competing-uk-visit\/\">(LHC)<\/a> has rejected the bail applications of PTI founder Imran Khan in 8 cases of May 9, according to media reports.<\/p>\n<p>A 2-member bench headed by Justice Shahbaz Rizvi ruled on the applications by rejecting the bail application of the former Prime Minister <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/imran-khan-postpones-protest-movement-heres-why\/\">Imran Khan<\/a> in the 9th May cases.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the Lahore High Court had reserved its decision on the bail applications of the PTI founder in the May 9 cases.<\/p>\n<p>A 2-member bench headed by Justice Shahbaz Ali Rizvi of the Lahore High Court heard the applications during which the relevant authorities appeared in the court.<\/p>\n<p>PTI founder Imran Khan had filed bail applications in 8 cases on May 9, on which the court reserved its decision after the hearing.<\/p>\n<p>It should be noted that cases of burning and besieging Jinnah House and Askari Tower have been registered against the PTI founder.<\/p>\n<p>The PTI leadership has expressed dissatisfaction over the verdict of the Lahore High Court in the May 9th cases.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has rejected the bail applications of PTI founder Imran Khan in 8 cases of May 9, according to media reports.
