This aid will promote quality primary education in Balochistan and provide quality education to 250,000 children in primary schools.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, $94 million in aid will be used for a project to increase water security and production in Balochistan, while the lives of small farmers of the Nadi, Tali, and Lehri rivers will be improved.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) approved a $350 million loan for Pakistan to support access to finance for women\u00a0in Pakistan under the \u201cWomen Inclusive Finance Sector Development Program (Subprogram-II).\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"td_block_wrap tdb_single_content tdi_40 td-pb-border-top td_block_template_1 td-post-content tagdiv-type\" data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_40\">\n<div class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\">\n<p>According to the ADB press release, the loan agreement was signed by Sabina Qureshi, additional secretary of the Economic Affairs Division, and Dinesh Raj Shiwakoti, Head of the Project Administration Unit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe State Bank of Pakistan signed the Project Agreement for the Financial Intermediary Loan (FIL).\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The program is aligned with Pakistan\u2019s Country Partnership Strategy 2021\u20132025 to boost the representation of women in the economy.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>QUETTA: The World Bank has approved $194 million in aid for Balochistan for two projects for education and the provision of clean water, according to media reports.
