href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/pti-ready-to-dissolve-kp-assembly-on-imran-khans-order-gohar\/\"> Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf<\/a> (PTI), the Supreme Court&#8217;s Constitutional Bench has ruled that the party is not entitled to seats reserved for women and minorities in the national and provincial assemblies.<\/p>\n<p>The verdict was announced by a 10-member bench headed by Justice Aminuddin Khan on Friday. <span class=\"diff-highlight\">After<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">a<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">brief<\/span> ruling, Justice Aminuddin Khan <span class=\"diff-highlight\">stated<\/span>, \u201c<span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">undersigned<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">justice<\/span> Aminuddin Khan, Justice Mussarat Hilali, Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan, Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan, Justice Hashim Khan Kakar, Justice Aamir Farooq and Justice Ali Baqar Najafi all review petitions are allowed and <span class=\"diff-highlight\">impugned<\/span> majority judgement dated July 12, 2024 is set aside as a consequence thereof civil appeals filed by SIC are dismissed and judgement <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/brt-peshawar-fares-increased-per-stop-from-july-1\/\">Peshawar High Court<\/a> PHC is restored.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"diff-highlight\">Review<\/span> petitions against <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Supreme<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Court<\/span>&#8216;s <span class=\"diff-highlight\">ruling<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">dated<\/span> July 12, 2024 that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was entitled to <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> reserved seats for women and <span class=\"diff-highlight\">minority<\/span> in the national <span class=\"diff-highlight\">assembly<\/span> and <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> provincial <span class=\"diff-highlight\">assembly<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">were<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">filed<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">by<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Pakistan<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Muslim<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">League<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">&#8211;<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">Nawaz<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">(<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">PML<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">&#8211;<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">N<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">)<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">,<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Pakistan<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Peoples<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Party<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">(<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">PPP<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">)<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">and<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Election<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Commission<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Pakistan<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Justice Mansoor Ali Shah <span class=\"diff-highlight\">announced<\/span> the <span class=\"diff-highlight\">verdict<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">on<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">behalf<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> the 8-5 majority <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">full<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">bench<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">SC<\/span>, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">set<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">aside<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">order<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> the Peshawar High Court<span class=\"diff-highlight\">,<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">which<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">,<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">upheld<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">decision<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) <span class=\"diff-highlight\">to<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">deny<\/span> the reserved seats to Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC).<\/p>\n<p>In <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> July 12 verdict, eight of <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">thirteen<\/span> judges <span
