The Power Division has submitted an application to implement a uniform tariff structure across the country with a proposed reduction in basic electricity rates for domestic consumers.<\/p>\n
According to official documents, a reduction of Rs 1.16 per unit in the basic tariff for domestic consumers is being proposed, which will likely reduce the maximum domestic rate from Rs 48.84 to Rs 47.69 per unit.<\/p>\n
