{"id":79127,"date":"2025-07-01T12:39:27","date_gmt":"2025-07-01T07:39:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=79127"},"modified":"2025-07-01T12:39:27","modified_gmt":"2025-07-01T07:39:27","slug":"13-workers-kidnapped-from-mango-orchard-in-sadiqabad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/13-workers-kidnapped-from-mango-orchard-in-sadiqabad\/","title":{"rendered":"13 workers kidnapped from Mango orchard in Sadiqabad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SADIQABAD: A <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/three-dacoits-killed-one-resident-injured-in-karachi\/\">group of bandits<\/a> abducted 13 agriculture workers employed at an orchard in Sadiq Abad with two children, police reported on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Armed bandits gang abducted 13 individuals hostage late last night, who were employed at a <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/pakistan-to-export-125000-ton-mangoes-this-summer-season\/\">mango orchard<\/a> in Sadiq Abad, and brought them to the katcha area, local sources added.<\/p>\n<p>The hostages who were named are Nadeem Ahmed, Rasheed Ahmed, Waseem Ahmed, Saddam Hussain, Gul Hassan, Muhammad Bilal, Muhammad Hanif, Nadeem, Kashif, Majid Umair, Shahmeer Ahmed and Tanveer Ahmed.<\/p>\n<p>The hostage crisis created a jurisdiction issue between the authorities of Sonmiani police station of Rajanpur and Bhong police station in Rahim Yar Khan, which caused delay in registration of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/crime\/mother-kills-burns-her-son-after-fake-kidnapping-report\/\">kidnapping case.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Police authorities have informed that the case of abduction has been registered at Sonmiani police station.<\/p>\n<p>A search operation has been initiated for recovery of the hostages, said officials further.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SADIQABAD: A group of bandits abducted 13 agriculture workers employed at an orchard in Sadiq Abad with two children, police reported on Tuesday.
