{"id":79312,"date":"2025-07-02T21:59:12","date_gmt":"2025-07-02T16:59:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=79312"},"modified":"2025-07-02T21:59:12","modified_gmt":"2025-07-02T16:59:12","slug":"psl-x-records-highest-number-of-broadcast-viewership","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/sports\/psl-x-records-highest-number-of-broadcast-viewership\/","title":{"rendered":"PSL X records highest number of broadcast viewership"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: The Pakistan Super League<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/sports\/lahore-qalandars-clinch-psl-10-title-in-thrilling-final\/\"> (PSL X)<\/a> edition 10 has made a new record for the most broadcast viewership with 3.4 billion live streaming views.<\/p>\n<p>The PSL administration and stakeholders had a meeting in <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/marriyum-aurangzeb-denies-renaming-of-lahores-jinnah-institute-of-cardiology-after-cm-maryam\/\">Lahore<\/a> where they were briefed on several issues regarding the event.<\/p>\n<p>The briefing stated that PSL 10 generated gate money worth more than Rs. 500 million.<\/p>\n<p>The participants were also briefed about the viewership, averaging 8.5 during the season. Peshawar Zalmi was among the top-watched teams in the PSL.<\/p>\n<p>The live streaming increased by 647 % from that of last year&#8217;s edition, where the views were about 455 million, and PSL 10 recorded the highest views with 3.4 billion<\/p>\n<p>The Final of the PSL 10 was the most watched game of the event with a viewership of more than 1.4 billion. The views from the urban areas were 53 percent, and from rural areas with 47 %.<\/p>\n<p>The gender difference among the viewers was 67 percent to 33 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board, Mohsin Naqvi, said that PSL is a sign of hope and unity.
