ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday departed here for a two-day visit to Azerbaijan to attend the 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO)<\/a> being held in Khankendi city.<\/p>\n

During the visit, the prime minister will lead the Pakistani delegation<\/a> at the summit and also address the event being held on July 3-4, 2025 under the theme \u201cNew ECO Vision for a Sustainable and Climate Resilient Future.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the summit, the prime minister will share Pakistan\u2019s perspective on key regional and global challenges, reaffirm Pakistan\u2019s commitment to the ECO Vision 2025, and advocate for enhanced intra-regional trade, transport connectivity, energy cooperation, and sustainable development.<\/p>\n

He will also hold bilateral meetings with other ECO leaders on the sidelines of the Summit to discuss matters of mutual interest.<\/p>\n
