KARACHI: In a recent development, Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) for Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah has threatened that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf<\/a> (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s sons will get arrested if they dare to join the protest movement.<\/p>\n

While speaking exclusively in a program, SAPM Rana Sanaullah informed that the sons of the PTI founder<\/a> are British citizens and are unaware of the internal political landscape of Pakistan.<\/p>\n

He questioned the intention behind bringing them to Pakistan, suggesting it could only add to their difficulties. \u201cIf they come and take part in the party\u2019s political movement, they will face arrest,\u201d he warned.<\/p>\n

Rana Sanaullah criticized PTI\u2019s protest methods, saying no one can trust that their demonstrations would remain peaceful, given their record of violent agitation, attacks on institutions, and arson.<\/p>\n

He categorically stated that such activities would not be allowed under the guise of protest. Rana Sanaullah claimed that PTI\u2019s real motive behind protests is incitement and vandalism, not democratic expression, and therefore the party will not be granted permission to hold such events.<\/p>\n

Rana Sanaullah reasserted that rallies and peaceful protests are a sign of democracy, yet PTI has never been ready to embrace democratic behavior. The party would only be in a position to have a dialogue when it comes forward with a democratic attitude, he further stated.<\/p>\n

Rana Sanaullah claimed that the state cannot be taken hostage by 10,000\u201315,000 individuals in a nation of 250 million.<\/p>\n
