MIRPURKHAS: In a major scandal<\/a>, the list of wives of government employees who benefited from the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) in Mirpurkhas district surfaced on social media on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The beneficiaries include wives of employees and officers of the Education Department<\/a> from grades one to 18.<\/p>\n

According to the list, the wives of 72 employees of the Education Department in Mirpurkhas<\/a> district received money from this program for the beneficiaries.<\/p>\n

According to the District Education Officer, the salaries of the employees who benefited from BISP will be deducted, and the full amount will be returned to BISP soon.<\/p>\n

The wives of the employees and officers have received money ranging from 2 thousand to 190 thousand each.<\/p>\n

Earlier, the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP)\u00a0<\/span>introduced<\/span>\u00a0a retail-based payment system to distribute\u00a0<\/span>quarterly\u00a0<\/span>installments<\/span>\u00a0to the\u00a0<\/span>recipients<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The new\u00a0payment<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>methodology<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>is<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>effective<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>from the\u00a0<\/span>issuance<\/span>\u00a0of the BISP Quarter 4 installment. This development comes after the\u00a0<\/span>persisting\u00a0<\/span>heatwave\u00a0<\/span>situation<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>in<\/span>\u00a0Pakistan,\u00a0<\/span>with<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>an objective\u00a0<\/span>to\u00a0<\/span>provide<\/span>\u00a0a safer and more respectable ambiance to the\u00a0<\/span>beneficiaries.<\/span><\/p>\n

Collect BISP Installment 2025 from Retail Outlets<\/a><\/h2>\n

Contrary<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>to\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>earlier<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>camp<\/span>-based\u00a0<\/span>approach<\/span>, the new system will\u00a0<\/span>facilitate<\/span>\u00a0beneficiaries to\u00a0<\/span>receive<\/span>\u00a0their cash grants at\u00a0<\/span>sponsored<\/span>\u00a0retail outlets\u00a0<\/span>with biometric\u00a0<\/span>identification<\/span>\u00a0systems.<\/span><\/p>\n
