{"id":79973,"date":"2025-07-09T23:02:45","date_gmt":"2025-07-09T18:02:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=79973"},"modified":"2025-07-09T23:02:45","modified_gmt":"2025-07-09T18:02:45","slug":"kp-govt-raises-martyrs-compensation-for-police-announces-plots-for-families","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/kp-govt-raises-martyrs-compensation-for-police-announces-plots-for-families\/","title":{"rendered":"KP Govt raises martyrs&#8217; compensation for police, announces plots for families"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has increased the compensation amount for the families of police personnel martyred in the line of duty under the Martyrs Package.<\/p>\n<p>According to a notification issued by the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/govt-seeks-deputation-of-finance-division-officer-to-immigration-passports-department\/\">Finance Department<\/a>, the package for the heirs of martyred police personnel has been increased by Rs 1 million.<\/p>\n<p>The revised package for a martyred constable or head constable is now Rs 11 million, while the heirs of a martyred DSP or ASP will get Rs 16 million.<\/p>\n<p>The package for martyred Senior Superintendent of Police, Superintendent of Police, or AIGs has been increased to Rs 21 million, and for a martyred DIGP or IGP, it will be Rs 23 million.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, under the Martyrs Package, the department has announced that plots will be allotted to the heirs of police martyrs: a 5-marla plot for the family of a constable, a 7-marla plot for the heirs of a martyred ASI or SI, a 10-marla plot for a DSP or ASP and one plot each for the families of martyred SSPs or higher officers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has increased the compensation amount for the families of police personnel martyred in the line of duty under the Martyrs Package.
