{"id":80347,"date":"2025-07-14T12:03:42","date_gmt":"2025-07-14T07:03:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=80347"},"modified":"2025-07-14T13:09:34","modified_gmt":"2025-07-14T08:09:34","slug":"petrol-prices-likely-to-rise-in-pakistan-check-expected-rates-inside","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/petrol-prices-likely-to-rise-in-pakistan-check-expected-rates-inside\/","title":{"rendered":"Petrol prices likely to rise in Pakistan, check expected rates inside"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: In a recent development, the government of Pakistan is all set to announce the<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/fares-increased-by-transporters-amid-recent-hike-in-petrol-prices\/\"> new petrol rates<\/a> for the next fifteen days, effective from 15 July 2025.<\/p>\n<p>According to details, initial calculations have already been done, keeping in view recent trends in international oil markets.<br \/>\nEarly estimates showed petrol price will go up by as much as Rs6.60 per liter, while<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/automobile\/car-sales-jump-67-in-jun-2025-highest-in-three-years\/\"> high-speed diesel<\/a> (HSD) will go up by Rs5.27 per liter.<\/p>\n<p>Yet, kerosene is likely to become less expensive by Rs3.74 per liter, and light diesel oil (LDO) could be cut by Rs2.23 per liter.<\/p>\n<p>A summary outlining the suggested price revisions shall be submitted to the Prime Minister&#8217;s Office on Monday. The ultimate approval shall lie with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, following which the Ministry of Finance will issue the new prices.<\/p>\n<p>The new prices, after approval, will be in force for the next 15 days.<\/p>\n<h2>Current Petrol Prices in Pakistan<\/h2>\n<p>On July 1, the federal government raised petrol prices for the next two weeks, increasing the price of petrol by Rs8.36 per liter.<\/p>\n<p>As per a notification released by the Ministry of Finance, the petrol price was raised by Rs14.80 per litre, the new petrol price being Rs266.89 per litre.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, high-speed diesel price was raised by Rs 10.39 per litre, its new price being Rs 272.98 per litre.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: In a recent development, the government of Pakistan is all set to announce the new petrol rates for the next fifteen days, effective from 15 July 2025.
