LONDON: In a recent development, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf<\/a> (PTI) founder Imran<\/span>\u00a0Khan<\/span>‘s<\/span>\u00a0son\u00a0<\/span>Kasim<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Khan<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>stated<\/span>\u00a0his father\u00a0<\/span>chose to\u00a0<\/span>remain<\/span>\u00a0in a\u00a0<\/span>blacked-out<\/span>\u00a0prison cell\u00a0<\/span>instead<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>of<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>enjoying<\/span>\u00a0a comfortable life in exile.

\n<\/span>Kasim shared\u00a0a post\u00a0on the social media site\u00a0X,\u00a0recalling\u00a0his father’s political\u00a0path\u00a0and the\u00a0individual\u00a0sacrifices he\u00a0had to endure.<\/p>\n

“Our father\u00a0spent\u00a0most of our lives in Pakistan, away from us. Not\u00a0due\u00a0to\u00a0necessity, but because he\u00a0wanted\u00a0to\u00a0take a\u00a0stand\u00a0against a corrupt regime,”\u00a0he\u00a0said.<\/p>\n

Kasim admitted that Imran Khan hadn’t been in their lives all along as a father, but said Pakistan had him as a leader. “He sacrificed everything for his nation, from hospitals and universities to a countrywide movement of justice,” he further added.<\/p>\n

Kasim\u00a0disclosed\u00a0that Imran Khan\u00a0was\u00a0offered a chance to live peacefully in England,\u00a0passing\u00a0his days with family,\u00a0walking, or playing cricket.<\/p>\n

But he preferred to stay behind bars in a black jail cell because he believes in Pakistan,” Imran Khan’s son Kasim posted, commenting that his father’s determination is because of the people of Pakistan and his sacrifice for them.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar Ali informed the session that the PTI founder\u2019s Imran Khan both his sons will join the party workers in the movement.<\/p>\n
