{"id":80615,"date":"2025-07-16T20:41:44","date_gmt":"2025-07-16T15:41:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=80615"},"modified":"2025-07-16T20:41:44","modified_gmt":"2025-07-16T15:41:44","slug":"punjab-govt-to-enjoy-e-taxi-service-soon-details-inside","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/punjab-govt-to-enjoy-e-taxi-service-soon-details-inside\/","title":{"rendered":"Punjab govt to enjoy e-taxi service soon: Details inside"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: The provincial government of Punjab has decided to start an<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/punjab-initiates-work-on-e-taxi-service-resembling-chinese-model\/\"> e-taxi service<\/a> soon across the province, here on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Punjab Minister for Transport Bilal Akbar Khan presided over a special meeting of the steering committee in this regard.<br \/>\nOfficials from transport, PECA, NESPAK, Excise and Taxation, Bank of Punjab, and other relevant officials participated in the meeting.<\/p>\n<p>A comprehensive briefing was also given to the minister about the e-taxi project. The participants of the meeting reviewed different electronic vehicles, their prices, and other technical issues.<\/p>\n<p>It was decided that 1100 electric vehicles will be provided during the first phase of the project, and for this purpose, interest-free loans will be provided to the applicants.<\/p>\n<p>Provincial Minister for Transport Bilal Akbar Khan said that the e-taxi project will provide employment and better travel facilities to the people.<\/p>\n<p>He said that simple terms and conditions are fixed for the e-taxi scheme.
