{"id":80755,"date":"2025-07-18T11:50:51","date_gmt":"2025-07-18T06:50:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=80755"},"modified":"2025-07-18T11:50:51","modified_gmt":"2025-07-18T06:50:51","slug":"govt-approves-ad-hoc-allowance-for-employees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/govt-approves-ad-hoc-allowance-for-employees\/","title":{"rendered":"Govt approves ad hoc allowance for employees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>QUETTA: The government of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/nine-passengers-killed-in-heinous-attack-in-balochistan\/\">Balochistan<\/a> has approved the ad hoc relief allowance for government employees for 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The Balochistan <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/finance-ministry-projects-june-inflation-between-3-and-4-percent\/\">Finance Department<\/a> has issued an approval notification, and 10 percent of the basic salary will be given as ad hoc relief allowance from BPS 1 to 22.<\/p>\n<p>According to the announcement of the provincial finance department, the increase in salaries will be effective from July 1, 2025. The allowance will not be given to those employees who are on posting or deputation abroad.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement further said that the expenditure of the allowance will be adjusted in the revised budget estimates.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the federal cabinet has approved a 15 per cent hike in pensions for Employees\u2019 Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) pensioners, starting from January 1, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The government said that the increase is aimed at providing financial relief to retired senior citizens, relying on these pensions.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing the cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the performance of ministries will be evaluated every two months. He said key performance indicators will be determined for this purpose.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the premier annocued that the ministries demonstrating strong performance will be commended. &#8220;Those ministries with shortcomings will be promptly addressed through corrective or disciplinary measures.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Prime Minister also expressed satisfaction over Pakistan Stock Market, saying that the high performance of PSX reflects the positive business sentiment.<\/p>\n<p>He said collective efforts are being made for the economic growth of the country, expressing the confidence that by the grace of Allah Almighty, these will bear fruit.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>QUETTA: The government of Balochistan has approved the ad hoc relief allowance for government employees for 2025.
