ISLAMABAD: The residents of twin cities Islamabad and Rawalpindi have been enjoying continuous monsoon rains for the last week; however, the heavy rainfall caused severe destruction in some areas of the cities, while the rest of the people enjoyed the beautiful weather.<\/p>\n
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department<\/a> (PMD), the Partly cloudy and humid weather is expected over most parts of the country. However, rain-wind\/thundershower is expected at isolated places in Upper\/Southeastern Sindh, Central\/Southern Punjab, Northeastern\/Southern Balochistan, Kashmir, and Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.<\/p>\n According to the Met Office, Rain-wind\/thundershower (with isolated heavy falls) occurred in Islamabad, upper\/central Punjab, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Khuzdar.
