According to the health department<\/a>, around 200 people were bitten by snakes in Tharparkar this month and were brought to hospitals for treatment.<\/p>\n

According to doctors, anti-snake venom injections are used to neutralize the snake venom, which is used in a minimum of 7 to 10 doses on a patient.<\/p>\n

There are more than 10 species of snakes in the forests of the Thar Desert, of which neurotoxic and musculotoxic are the most dangerous.<\/p>\n

After the rains, snakes have their breeding days, during which they have to come out of their burrows and also excrete their venom from their bodies.<\/p>\n

Naturally, this stage of snake breeding poses a danger to every living being.<\/p>\n

However, in another development, the Lahore Zoo, a <\/span>favorite<\/span>\u00a0tourist destination,\u00a0<\/span>saw<\/span>\u00a0a chaotic scene on\u00a0New Year\u2019s Day\u00a0as visitors were\u00a0<\/span>greeted<\/span>\u00a0with a surprise increase in the entry fee.<\/span><\/p>\n

The private company that has taken over the management of the zoo, under a Rs500-million contract, introduced a new entry fee structure, which raised the cost of admission to Rs300.<\/span><\/p>\n

This\u00a0<\/span>action<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>provoked<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>several<\/span>\u00a0protests\u00a0<\/span>from<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>visitors<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>who<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>had\u00a0<\/span>come<\/span>\u00a0from\u00a0<\/span>many<\/span>\u00a0cities to visit the zoo with their families. The increased fee was\u00a0<\/span>considered<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>too<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>exorbitant<\/span>\u00a0and unfair<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>by<\/span>\u00a0many visitors\u00a0<\/span>who<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>found<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>themselves boiling out in anger and opted to<\/span>\u00a0leave\u00a0<\/span>from there\u00a0<\/span>in protest.<\/span><\/p>\n
