{"id":8145,"date":"2022-05-11T17:24:50","date_gmt":"2022-05-11T17:24:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=8145"},"modified":"2022-05-11T17:24:50","modified_gmt":"2022-05-11T17:24:50","slug":"newlywed-bride-dies-by-suicide-after-being-upset-for-absence-of-toilet-at-husbands-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/world\/newlywed-bride-dies-by-suicide-after-being-upset-for-absence-of-toilet-at-husbands-home\/","title":{"rendered":"Newlywed bride dies after being upset for absence of toilet at husband&#8217;s home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"\">ISLAMABAD: A 27-year-old woman from Tamil Nadu, India, allegedly died by suicide after being upset over her husband&#8217;s inability to set up a toilet in the house, <i><a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/city\/chennai\/newlywed-ends-life-as-no-toilet-in-hubbys-home\/articleshow\/91478438.cms\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">India Times<\/a><\/i>\u00a0reported.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Ramya, who was a pharmacist and worked at a\u00a0private hospital in Cuddalore, was in a relationship with her husband, Karthikeyan, for more than two years. They finally got married on April 6.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">A day after the marriage, however, Ramya returned to her mother&#8217;s house as there was no functional toilet at her husband&#8217;s place.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Karthikeyan reassured her and said that he would rent a house with a toilet facility. Allegedly, he never fulfilled his promise.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Ramya, disheartened and disappointed, tried to take her life on May 10.
