{"id":81811,"date":"2025-07-30T11:51:41","date_gmt":"2025-07-30T06:51:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=81811"},"modified":"2025-07-30T11:51:41","modified_gmt":"2025-07-30T06:51:41","slug":"balochistan-honour-killing-married-couple-shot-dead-after-seven-years","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/balochistan-honour-killing-married-couple-shot-dead-after-seven-years\/","title":{"rendered":"Balochistan honour killing: Married couple shot dead after seven years"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>QUETTA: In yet another case of honour killing in <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/featured\/viral-video-cj-balochistan-took-notice-judicial-court-orders-exhumation-of-womans-body\/\">Balochistan<\/a>, Brothers allegedly killed their pregnant sister and her husband for marrying in Noshki district, according to media reports.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Levies, Shoaib Khan, a resident of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/300-passengers-sent-to-quetta-after-explosion-halted-train-service-in-balochistan\/\">Panjgur<\/a>, was coming to Quetta with his pregnant wife and brother.<\/p>\n<p>They were in a private hotel near the Lakpas Noshki Cross in Mastung when armed men opened fire on the couple and killed them.<\/p>\n<p>On receiving information, the Levies reached the spot and took the bodies to the hospital. The Levies said that &#8216;Muhammad Shoaib of Chitkan area of Panjgur had a court marriage with Benazir, a resident of Hazarganji area of Quetta, about seven years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Following the marriage, Shoaib had reached an agreement with his in-laws. Yesterday, the brothers of the deceased had invited both the husband and wife to Quetta on the pretext of an invitation.<\/p>\n<p>The deceased left for Quetta. As it became dark on the way, they spent the night in a hotel near Lakpas.<\/p>\n<p>In the morning, the deceased&#8217;s brothers called to find out her location, and upon reaching there, they killed the couple.<\/p>\n<p>The accused fled after firing. Levies registered a case and started searching for the accused.<\/p>\n<p>This marks the second honour killing case reported in Balochistan, as earlier this month, a couple was killed in the Degari area of Balochistan.
