{"id":82329,"date":"2025-08-05T15:54:20","date_gmt":"2025-08-05T10:54:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=82329"},"modified":"2025-08-05T16:18:43","modified_gmt":"2025-08-05T11:18:43","slug":"cm-punjab-cm-maryam-nawaz-launches-another-housing-scheme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/cm-punjab-cm-maryam-nawaz-launches-another-housing-scheme\/","title":{"rendered":"Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz launches another housing scheme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: The 28th meeting of the provincial cabinet held under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister of Punjab, <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/punjab-cm-maryam-announces-paid-internship-program-for-graduates-apply-now\/\">Maryam Nawaz<\/a>, approved a 130-point agenda.<\/p>\n<p>1220 flats for industrial workers in Labor Complexes located in Sundar, Kasur, and Taxila were approved.<\/p>\n<p>These flats will be given to the labourers by a ballot process.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the proposal for the recovery cost of the flats was rejected by the Chief Minister, ordering the construction of more than 3,000 flats for the labourers.<\/p>\n<p>The cabinet also approved a minimum salary of Rs40,000 for skilled, semi-skilled, and other workers across 102 categories.<\/p>\n<p>The Chief Minister commended Rescue 1122&#8217;s rescue efforts and offered an award of Rs50,000 for each officer who carried out flood duty in recognition of their efforts during the recent flood emergencies.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Chief Minister of Punjab\u00a0Maryam Nawaz inaugurated two innovative mobile learning projects, \u201cSchool on Wheels\u201d and \u201cLibrary on Wheels\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The programs have installed solar-powered e-rickshaws equipped with folding chairs and solar roofs to deliver lessons and books to rural and urban areas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSchool on Wheels\u201d offers primary education and creative activities, while \u201cLibrary on Wheels\u201d brings storybooks, art supplies, and educational toys to communities that do not have a fixed library.<\/p>\n<p>The chief minister highlighted the initiatives as part of her administration\u2019s push to improve literacy and educational access.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: The 28th meeting of the provincial cabinet held under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, approved a 130-point agenda. 1220 flats for industrial workers in Labor Complexes located in Sundar, Kasur, and Taxila were approved.
