{"id":82915,"date":"2025-08-12T13:55:36","date_gmt":"2025-08-12T08:55:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=82915"},"modified":"2025-08-12T13:55:36","modified_gmt":"2025-08-12T08:55:36","slug":"apni-zameen-apna-ghar-scheme-authorities-received-over-365000-applications","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/apni-zameen-apna-ghar-scheme-authorities-received-over-365000-applications\/","title":{"rendered":"Apni Zameen, Apna Ghar Scheme: Authorities received Over 365,000 applications"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: The provincial <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/education\/registration-opens-for-punjab-cm-maryam-honhaar-scholarship-program\/\">government<\/a> has received more than 365,000 applications under the \u2018Apni Zameen, Apna Ghar\u2019 housing scheme.<\/p>\n<p>The project provides land to low- and middle-income families in 19 different districts across Punjab.<\/p>\n<p>Initial screening of all applications is underway, and free plots will be allotted through balloting.<\/p>\n<p>According to Punjab Housing Minister Bila Yasin, Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, will distribute 2,000 plots among the applicants.<\/p>\n<p>The program also offers interest-free loans of up to Rs 1.5 million under the \u2018Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar\u2019 initiative.<\/p>\n<p>There are 730 plots in Jhelum, 388 in Kasur, 257 in Faisalabad, 218 in Lodhran, and 130 in Okara, according to the distribution details, which will be distributed.<\/p>\n<p>55 in Layyah, 52 in Bhakkar, 33 in Sahiwal, 25 in Sargodha, 24 in Khushab, 20 in Bahawalnagar, and 15 in Rajanpur are the remaining allotments.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, homeless families will receive 17 plots in Mandi Bahauddin, 11 in Attock, 8 in Gujrat, 7 in Bahawalpur, 4 in Vehari and Jhang, and 2 in Chiniot.<\/p>\n<h2>Eligibility Criteria for Apni Chhat Apna Ghar Scheme<\/h2>\n<p>Apni Chhat Apna Ghar\u2019s initiative aims at supporting families with a monthly income below Rs50,000, those living in rental properties.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Head of their household in the NADRA records.<\/li>\n<li>Reside permanently in Punjab, as indicated on their CNIC.<\/li>\n<li>Own a land plot of up to 5 Marlas in urban areas or up to 10 Marlas in rural areas within Punjab, where they plan to build their house.<\/li>\n<li>Have no serious criminal record.<\/li>\n<li>Have no outstanding debts to banks or financial institutions.<\/li>\n<li>Be registered with the National Socio-Economic Registry (NSER) with a PMT score of 60 or lower.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-5\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-77303031\" class=\"lazy-unit av-ads\" data-parent-unit=\"dailyausaf_in_content_lazy\">The Punjab government has announced an ambitious plan to construct approximately 100,000 affordable homes every year.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>This initiative will benefit residents in key cities, including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Multan, and Sargodha, which will later be expanded across the province.<\/p>\n<p>By providing affordable housing options, the government aims to address the pressing need for shelter among low-income families and contribute to the overall development of these cities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: The provincial government has received more than 365,000 applications under the \u2018Apni Zameen, Apna Ghar\u2019 housing scheme.
