ISLAMABAD: The Government of Pakistan officially launched the Prime Minister’s Laptop Loan Scheme<\/a> 2025, through which students, freelancers, and young professionals will be able to purchase laptops using interest-free installment loans.<\/p>\n

Loan Categories<\/h3>\n

The scheme has three categories:<\/p>\n

Basic: PKR 150,000
\nMedium: PKR 300,000
\nAdvanced: PKR 450,000
\nThe loans are all repayable in flexible monthly installments for several years.<\/p>\n

Eligibility Criteria<\/h3>\n

Applicants should be Pakistani nationals aged 18 to 35 years. The program is available to:<\/p>\n

University students
\nFreelancers
\nYoung professionals
\nPreference would be given to candidates from poor families. Government servants, however, are exempt.<\/p>\n

Documents Required<\/h3>\n

The following documents will be demanded from the applicants:<\/p>\n

CNIC (front and back scanned copies)
\nPassport-size recent photograph
\nIncome proof (salary slip or guardian’s income statement)
\nEducational certificates or proof of university admission
\nFreelancers can provide links to their online work resumes, like Fiverr or Upwork<\/p>\n
