But the excitement was short-lived. The \u201cspecial offer\u201d disappeared in less than 24 hours, the disclaimer was buried in the fine print, and the prices were hiked by Rs 200,000 \u2014 leaving consumers in a quandary.<\/p>\n<p>The CCP slammed the move as \u201cbait advertising\u201d \u2013 a clear violation of Section 10 of the Competition Act \u2013 and initially slapped Hyundai Nishat with a fine of Rs 25 million in April 2025.
