{"id":84410,"date":"2025-08-30T11:18:02","date_gmt":"2025-08-30T06:18:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=84410"},"modified":"2025-08-30T11:18:31","modified_gmt":"2025-08-30T06:18:31","slug":"more-than-350-feeders-restored-in-flood-affected-areas-power-division","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/more-than-350-feeders-restored-in-flood-affected-areas-power-division\/","title":{"rendered":"More than 350 feeders restored in flood-affected areas: Power Division"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/senate-body-lauds-power-division-for-historic-achievements-in-energy-sector\/\">Power Division<\/a> reports progress in power restoration in flood-affected areas till August 30 has been released.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, 12 grids and 91 feeders of PESCO areas of Swat, Banar, Shangla, Swabi and DI Khan were affected in the recent floods.<\/p>\n<p>84 PESCO feeders complete and 7 partially has been restored in the affected areas.<\/p>\n<p>Power restoration work have been completed in PESCO areas of\u00a0 Swabi and DI Khan, as per the report.<\/p>\n<p>10 grids and 87 feeders of GEPCO areas of Sialkot, Narowal, Wazirabad and Hafizabad were affected in the current floods.<\/p>\n<p>However, 68 GEPCO feeders complete and 17 partially have been restored.<\/p>\n<p>56 affected feeders of LESCO in Lahore, Okara, Sheikhupura, Kasur and Nankana have been partially restored and full restoration is expected to complete from August 31 to September 5,<\/p>\n<p>17 grids and 53 affected feeders temporarily restored in the Faisalabad, Chiniot, Jhang, Sargodha, Mianwali and DI Khan areas under FESCO.<\/p>\n<p>The restoration process of the affected feeders will begin immediately as soon as the water recedes in the areas under the administration of MEPCO, according to the report.<\/p>\n<p>2 affected feeders in the Tesco area of \u200b\u200bNorth Waziristan have been temporarily restored as full restoration is expected by September 5.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, out of a total of 39 grids and 356 affected feeders, 152 have been completely restored and 202 have been temporarily restored.<\/p>\n<p>The field teams of the DISCOs are busy with restoration work day and night and Power supply in the affected areas will be fully restored as soon as possible.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The Power Division reports progress in power restoration in flood-affected areas till August 30 has been released.
