{"id":84686,"date":"2025-09-02T15:47:05","date_gmt":"2025-09-02T10:47:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=84686"},"modified":"2025-09-02T15:47:05","modified_gmt":"2025-09-02T10:47:05","slug":"samiya-hijab-kidnapping-case-accused-confesses-crime-sent-on-five-days-remand","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/samiya-hijab-kidnapping-case-accused-confesses-crime-sent-on-five-days-remand\/","title":{"rendered":"Samiya Hijab Kidnapping case: Accused confesses crime, sent on five days remand"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The suspect in the TikToker <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/life-style\/islamabad-police-arrest-man-for-harassing-tiktoker-samiya-hijab\/\">Samiya Hijab<\/a> kidnapping case has confessed to the crime in court and was handed over to police for a five-day physical remand.<\/p>\n<p>Islamabad Police presented the suspect\u00a0Hassan Zahid in the District and Sessions Courts in the case of the alleged <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/showbiz\/tiktoker-samiya-hijab-harassment-abduction-case-takes-new-turn-in-islamabad\/\">kidnapping<\/a> and extortion of a social media influencer.<\/p>\n<p>Judicial Magistrate Yasir Mahmood Chaudhry asked the accused about the threats and why he kidnapped her.\u00a0 &#8220;While confessing the crime, the accused said, Sir! I made a mistake.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>As per details, the police requested an 8-day physical remand of the accused, arguing that they have to recover the vehicle, pistol, and cash from the accused.<\/p>\n<p>The court handed over the accused to the police on a 5-day physical remand.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier on Monday, police arrested Hassan Zahid after the victim filed her complaint with the federal capital police at Shalimar Police Station and a video statement.<\/p>\n<p>The police had lodged the FIR under Section 354, 365, 392, 500, 509, and 511 of the Pakistan Penal Code.<\/p>\n<p>In her statement, she said, &#8220;The suspect attempted to forcibly abduct me from my house while I was returning his gifts.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This amounts to abduction, harassment, and assault under the law.
