{"id":84900,"date":"2025-09-03T13:12:11","date_gmt":"2025-09-03T08:12:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=84900"},"modified":"2025-09-03T13:12:11","modified_gmt":"2025-09-03T08:12:11","slug":"samiya-hijab-kidnapping-case-court-approves-bail-plea-of-hassan-zahid-in-one-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/life-style\/samiya-hijab-kidnapping-case-court-approves-bail-plea-of-hassan-zahid-in-one-case\/","title":{"rendered":"Samiya Hijab Kidnapping case: Court approves bail plea of Hassan Zahid in one case"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: Additional District and Sessions Judge Aamir Zia on Tuesday granted bail to accused <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/life-style\/islamabad-police-arrest-man-for-harassing-tiktoker-samiya-hijab\/\">Hassan Zahid<\/a> in a harassment and blackmail case.<\/p>\n<p>The court orders him to submit a surety bond of Rs 20,000.\u00a0 The court also directed the accused to join the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/pakistani-police-officer-anum-khan-grabs-global-investigation-award-in-dubai\/\">investigation.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The accused, however, is still in police custody on a five-day physical remand in another case at Shalimar Police Station.<\/p>\n<p>Arguments on the accused Hassan Zahid&#8217;s pre-arrest bail application will be held on September 9<\/p>\n<p>The petitioner claimed before the court that he was innocent in the kidnapping case and that the harassment and blackmail case had been filed only to harass and pressure him.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the suspect in the TikToker\u00a0Samiya Hijab kidnapping case confessed to the crime in court and was handed over to police for a five-day physical remand.<\/p>\n<p>Islamabad Police presented the suspect\u00a0Hassan Zahid in the District and Sessions Courts in the case of the alleged\u00a0kidnapping\u00a0and extortion of a social media influencer.<\/p>\n<p>Judicial Magistrate Yasir Mahmood Chaudhry asked the accused about the threats and why he kidnapped her.\u00a0 \u201cWhile confessing the crime, the accused said, Sir!
