{"id":85324,"date":"2025-09-08T14:56:53","date_gmt":"2025-09-08T09:56:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=85324"},"modified":"2025-09-08T14:56:53","modified_gmt":"2025-09-08T09:56:53","slug":"shutter-down-strike-observed-in-balochistan-amid-quetta-blast","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/shutter-down-strike-observed-in-balochistan-amid-quetta-blast\/","title":{"rendered":"Shutter-down strike observed in Balochistan amid Quetta blast"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>QUETTA: A wheel jam and a shutter-down<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/opposition-will-protest-inside-and-outside-parliament-says-ptis-aamir-dogar\/\">\u00a0strike<\/a>\u00a0have been observed across Balochistan against a suicide blast in Quetta last week.<\/p>\n<p>Business centers, markets, shops, and transport are completely closed today in <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/police-recovered-body-of-abducted-boy-in-mastung-dig-quetta\/\">Quetta<\/a> and other cities of Balochistan, including Mastung, Kalat, Khuzdar, Noshki, Turbat, Pishin, Ziarat, Zhob, Sherani, Qila Saifullah, and other districts.<\/p>\n<p>The strike was supported by various business organizations, civil society, and political parties.<\/p>\n<p>Police have arrested workers of various political parties in various districts of Balochistan, including Quetta.<\/p>\n<p>Balochistan National Party Senior Vice President Sajid Tareen Advocate and Awami National Party leader Asghar Khan Achakzai, while holding a joint press conference, said that the people have registered a strong protest against the Shahwani Stadium incident on the call of all parties.<\/p>\n<p>Sajid Tareen Advocate said that political workers were arrested during the protest, including Rahim Ziaratwal, Qahar Wadan, Malik Naseer Shahwani, and Sanaullah Kakar, among other leaders.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the people of Balochistan have proven that they believe in real politics, and the blood of martyrs will not go in vain.<\/p>\n<p>He said that workers of all parties were protesting peacefully, and political parties would not resort to violence under any circumstances.<\/p>\n<p>It should be remembered that 15 people were killed and 38 people were injured in a suicide blast outside Shahwani Stadium last week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>QUETTA: A wheel jam and a shutter-down\u00a0strike\u00a0have been observed across Balochistan against a suicide blast in Quetta last week.
