ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and China have agreed to encourage airlines of both countries to launch new direct flight routes and increase the number of existing flights.<\/p>\n
The decision is part of the China-Pakistan Action Plan (2025-2029), which was recently signed in Beijing.<\/p>\n
The plan brief, available with Wealth Pakistan, identifies civil aviation as a key area of \u200b\u200bcooperation under the broader framework of people-to-people exchanges.<\/p>\n
The document states that both sides will strengthen civil aviation cooperation by assisting airlines in launching new routes and increasing the frequency of existing routes. The initiative is designed to facilitate easy travel for business communities, students, tourists and professionals between the two countries.<\/p>\n
Civil aviation cooperation is also linked to other areas of the action plan such as cultural exchanges, educational cooperation, tourism development and trade facilitation.
