{"id":85623,"date":"2025-09-11T12:42:24","date_gmt":"2025-09-11T07:42:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=85623"},"modified":"2025-09-11T12:42:24","modified_gmt":"2025-09-11T07:42:24","slug":"ihc-seeks-record-of-cases-against-imran-khan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/ihc-seeks-record-of-cases-against-imran-khan\/","title":{"rendered":"IHC seeks record of cases against Imran Khan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court has sought details of cases registered against <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/court-extends-interim-bail-of-imran-khan-bushra-bibi\/\">Imran Khan<\/a> from NAB, FIA, and the police.<\/p>\n<p>Justice Muhammad Azam Khan of the Islamabad High Court heard Imran Khan\u2019s application to stop the proceedings of NAB, police, and FIA, during which lawyer Salman Safdar, Imran Khan\u2019s sisters, and NAB officials appeared in the court.<\/p>\n<p>During the hearing, Imran Khan\u2019s lawyer requested the formation of a larger bench; however, NAB officials opposed it and said that there was no ground in the application on the basis of which a larger bench should be formed.<\/p>\n<p>Special Prosecutor NAB asked the court for extra time to provide details of the cases against Imran Khan.<\/p>\n<p>Imran Khan&#8217;s counsel agreed to award 7 days to NAB for the provision of details of cases against the PTI founder.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the District and Sessions Court had extended the interim bail of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran khan\u00a0and his wife, Bushra Bibi.<\/p>\n<p>Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majuka, while hearing the cases, upheld the bail of the PTI founder in 6 cases and<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/bushra-bibis-son-musa-maneka-held-after-firing-at-employee\/\">\u00a0Bushra Bibi<\/a>\u00a0in one case until October 7.<\/p>\n<p>The court extended the order preventing the PTI founder from being arrested in the May 9 incidents, attempted murder, and protest cases, while Bushra Bibi\u2019s interim bail was also extended on the charge of fake receipts in the Toshakhana case.<\/p>\n<p>During the hearing, a decision could not be given on the bail applications of Bushra Bibi, even today, while the arguments could not be completed on the applications of the PTI founder.<\/p>\n<p>The court remarked that a joint decision would be given on the bail applications of the PTI founder and Bushra Bibi.<\/p>\n<p>Advocate Khalid Yousuf Chaudhry appeared on behalf of the PTI founder during the hearing.
