{"id":85629,"date":"2025-09-11T13:29:22","date_gmt":"2025-09-11T08:29:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=85629"},"modified":"2025-09-11T13:29:22","modified_gmt":"2025-09-11T08:29:22","slug":"bangladesh-to-face-hong-kong-in-asia-cup-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/sports\/bangladesh-to-face-hong-kong-in-asia-cup-today\/","title":{"rendered":"Bangladesh to face Hong Kong in Asia Cup today"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DUBAI: Bangladesh and Hong Kong will face each other today in the third match of the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/sports\/hockey-asia-cup-2025-draw-unveiled-pakistan-oman-miss-out\/\">Asia Cup 2025<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The match between the two teams will be played in <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/abu-dhabi-ports-announces-250-million-investment-in-karachi-port\/\">Abu Dhabi<\/a> at 7:30 PM Pakistan time.<\/p>\n<p>Hong Kong was defeated by Afghanistan by 94 runs in its first group match.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, the Bangladesh team has come into the event after winning three consecutive T20 series.<\/p>\n<p>It should be remembered that Bangladesh was defeated by Hong Kong in the 2014 T20 World Cup, but only two members of that team are in the current Hong Kong team.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, in\u00a0the second match of the\u00a0Asia Cup 2025, India started the event with a victory by defeating the UAE by 9 wickets in a one-sided match.<\/p>\n<p>In the match played in Dubai, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and invited the UAE to bat.<\/p>\n<p>The UAE team was bowled out for 57 runs in 13.1 overs.<\/p>\n<p>Opening batsman Alishan scored 22 runs, and captain Wasim scored 19 runs for the UAE. Except for these two, no batsman could enter double figures.<\/p>\n<p>Kuldeep Yadav took 4 wickets and Shivam Dube took 3 wickets for India.<\/p>\n<p>In reply, India easily achieved the target of 58 runs in 4.3 overs for the loss of one wicket.<\/p>\n<p>Abhishek Sharma was dismissed for 30 runs. Shubman Gill remained unbeaten on 20, and captain Suryakumar Yadav remained unbeaten on 7 runs.<\/p>\n<p>The UAE and India are in Group A of the Asia Cup.
