{"id":85874,"date":"2025-09-14T21:08:24","date_gmt":"2025-09-14T16:08:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=85874"},"modified":"2025-09-14T21:08:24","modified_gmt":"2025-09-14T16:08:24","slug":"pm-shehbaz-waves-off-electricity-bills-of-these-consumers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/pm-shehbaz-waves-off-electricity-bills-of-these-consumers\/","title":{"rendered":"PM Shehbaz waves off electricity bills of THESE consumers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/karachi\/weather-update-pmd-predicts-light-rain-in-this-capital-city\/\">Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif<\/a> on Sunday declared the waiver of domestic consumers&#8217; electricity bills in flood-hit areas of Pakistan as the nation faces the challenge of rescue and relief work with a view to long-term rehabilitation.<\/p>\n<p>In a televised address, the prime minister announced that the government had instructed the power distribution companies to refund the amount next month to those who had already deposited their bills for the current month.<\/p>\n<p>As regards the agricultural, commercial, and industrial consumers, Shehbaz stated that the collection of their bills for August had been delayed.<\/p>\n<p>But the prime minister explained that the government was estimating the losses incurred by the industrial, commercial, and agricultural consumers.
