When contacted for the first time at 10:30 am, the court was told that he would appear via video link at 11 am.<\/p>\n<p>At 11:25 am, he appeared via video link. During the hearing, defense lawyer Faisal Malik requested to speak to Imran Khan alone.<\/p>\n<p>On this occasion, the lawyers told Imran Khan that the video link presentation is being challenged in the High Court.<\/p>\n<p>What are your instructions on this notification, asked his counsel, to which Imran Khan asked the lawyers to boycott the court proceedings.<\/p>\n<p>After Imran Khan\u2019s instructions, the lawyers left the court, but the court continued the hearing and started recording the statements of the witnesses.<\/p>\n<p>During the hearing, the court recorded the testimony of two prosecution witnesses, in which Sub-Inspector Saleem Qureshi and Sub-Inspector Manzoor Shahzad recorded their statements, while 5 USBs containing video clips from both the witnesses were presented in the court.<\/p>\n<p>Later, the court adjourned the hearing of the May 9 GHQ attack case until September 23.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rawalpindi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan boycotted the proceedings through video link in the GHQ attack case.
