MUMBAI: Robo Shankar, a well-known actor of India’s Tamil film industry<\/a> and known for his comic roles, passed away at the age of 46.<\/p>\n

According to Indian media, actor Robo Shankar was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chennai after suddenly collapsing during the shooting of a film. He was shifted to the intensive care unit, but his condition deteriorated further and he died on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Doctors say that Robo Shankar had been suffering from various diseases for some time. He had recently recovered from jaundice.<\/p>\n

According to doctors, on September 16, he suddenly fainted and collapsed during the shooting of the film, after which he was immediately shifted to a private hospital in Chennai. However, he died on Thursday night.<\/p>\n
