{"id":87148,"date":"2025-09-29T13:01:55","date_gmt":"2025-09-29T08:01:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=87148"},"modified":"2025-09-29T13:01:55","modified_gmt":"2025-09-29T08:01:55","slug":"psx-extends-bullish-streak-as-buying-continues","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/psx-extends-bullish-streak-as-buying-continues\/","title":{"rendered":"PSX extends bullish streak as buying continues"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) continued its <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/index-crosses-131000-as-psx-continues-its-record-breaking-streak\/\">bullish streak<\/a> on Monday, with buying continuing since the start of trading.<\/p>\n<p>The 100 index recorded a gain of 854 points at the start of trading, after which the index crossed the 163,000-point mark for the first time in history.<\/p>\n<p>However, due to business volatility, the index had risen by 518.66 points, or 0.32 percent, to 162,775.67 points by 12 noon.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 217.06 million shares were traded during the trading session, which shows the interest of investors in the market.<\/p>\n<p>The market witnessed widespread investment in various sectors, including automobiles, cement, commercial banks, fertilizer companies, oil and gas exploration, oil marketing companies, power generation, and refinery.<\/p>\n<p>Shares of major companies such as ARL, Hubco, Mari, POL, PSO, SNGP, SSGC, MCB, Meezan Bank and UBL showed a positive trend.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, the Pakistan Stock Exchange also witnessed a record rally, with the KSE 100 Index closing at a high of 162,257 points, up 4,220 points.<\/p>\n<p>Internationally, most Asian markets also saw an improvement on Monday, while the dollar depreciated.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) continued its bullish streak on Monday, with buying continuing since the start of trading.
