ISLAMABAD: South African batsman Tazmin Brits sets new world record in ICC Women’s World Cup.<\/p>\n

South Africa defeated New Zealand by 6 wickets in the ICC Women’s World Cup<\/a> on Monday.<\/p>\n

In the match played in Indore, New Zealand batted first and were dismissed for 231 runs in the 48th over.<\/p>\n

For the Kiwis, Sophie Devine played an innings of 85 runs with the help of 9 fours, Brooke Halliday scored 45 runs.<\/p>\n

In reply, the South African women’s team achieved the target for the loss of 4 wickets in the 41st over thanks to the brilliant batting of Tazmin Brits and Sonny Luce.<\/p>\n

South African batsman Tazmin played an innings of 101 runs with the help of 15 fours and a six, Sonny Luce remained not out on 83 runs.<\/p>\n

Thanks to this century, South Africa’s Tazmin Brits also set a new world record. She became the player with the most ODI centuries in a calendar year in women’s cricket.<\/p>\n
