{"id":87700,"date":"2025-10-06T23:19:44","date_gmt":"2025-10-06T18:19:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=87700"},"modified":"2025-10-06T23:19:44","modified_gmt":"2025-10-06T18:19:44","slug":"pti-urges-ppp-to-join-no-confidence-move-against-pm-shehbaz","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/pti-urges-ppp-to-join-no-confidence-move-against-pm-shehbaz\/","title":{"rendered":"PTI urges PPP to join no-confidence move against PM Shehbaz"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: Amid the ongoing verbal exchange between the Pakistan Peoples Party and the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/pml-ns-rana-sanaullah-clinches-punjab-senate-seat-in-dominant-victory\/\">PML-N<\/a>, the PTI has offered to join hands with the PPP to move a no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister.<\/p>\n<p>When the National Assembly session began under the chairmanship of Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, the PPP expressed its strong anger over the Punjab Chief Minister\u2019s statements.<\/p>\n<p>While discussing the point of objection, <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/former-pm-raja-pervaiz-ashraf-acquitted-from-nab-references\/\">Raja Pervaiz Ashraf<\/a> said that such politics does not benefit any political party. Security has been withdrawn from our parliamentary leader in Punjab. It is not understood why controversial statements are being made.<\/p>\n<p>After this, the PPP walked out of the house in protest.<\/p>\n<p>When Raja Pervaiz Ashraf\u2019s verbal exchange ended, PTI\u2019s Asad Qaiser offered a no-confidence motion to the PPP, accusing it of friendly fire.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the PPP should not resort to friendly fire, should have the courage, should not do lightening, let\u2019s move a no-confidence motion now to dismiss this government.<\/p>\n<p>After this, the PP pointed out the quorum and upon counting, the quorum was not met, following which the meeting was adjourned until 5 pm on Thursday, October 9.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: Amid the ongoing verbal exchange between the Pakistan Peoples Party and the PML-N, the PTI has offered to join hands with the PPP to move a no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister.
