ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf<\/a> (PTI) leader and former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry has said that the post of chief minister will prove to be a big test of balance and tact for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa\u2019s designated chief minister, Sohail Afridi.<\/p>\n

According to him, the new chief minister will have to meet the expectations of all three: the founder PTI, the federal government, and the party workers.<\/p>\n

Speaking on ABN News\u2019 program Tajzia, Fawad Chaudhry said that Sohail Afridi\u2019s background is from the Insaf Students Federation (ISF), but he is inexperienced in the field of governance, so he will have to adopt a cautious and consultative leadership style.<\/p>\n

He said that Ali Amin Gandapur\u2019s resignation after the decision of the PTI founder<\/a> is a big political step. If Ali Amin had not resigned himself, a serious political crisis could have arisen in the province.<\/p>\n

According to him, a new phase of cooperation between the federation and the province is beginning, which can be in trouble with any wrong decision.<\/p>\n

Fawad Chaudhry said that during the tenure of Ali Amin Gandapur, there was growing frustration among the workers because the failure to get relief for the founder of PTI was a major failure for the party. He said that the PTI currently does not have any effective strategy that can help it overcome the current political crisis.<\/p>\n

He added that Shah Mehmood Qureshi now has the responsibility to reorganize the party because the PTI has neither a parliamentary opposition leader nor a strong political narrative. The party has created its own political vacuum, for which urgent steps are necessary to fill.<\/p>\n

Fawad Chaudhry said that after the disqualification of Shibli Faraz and Omar Ayub, the founder of PTI expressed gratitude, but this made the party more unbalanced.<\/p>\n

According to him, if the right strategy is adopted, the political scenario can be changed from the Chief Minister’s House, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, but empty aggressive behavior cannot lead to politics; for this, planning, teamwork, and unity of leadership are necessary.<\/p>\n
