The summary will be presented in the federal cabinet meeting for final approval.<\/p>\n<p>The increase in the house rent allowance will be for employees from grades 1 to 22.<\/p>\n<p>The increase will be applicable to permanent and contract government employees.<\/p>\n<p>According to sources from the Ministry of Finance, the increase will be applicable to the current basic salary.<\/p>\n<p>The current allowance was being given on the basic salary of 2008.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the Sindh government had decided to give advance salary and pension\u00a0to Hindu employees on the occasion of Diwali.<\/p>\n<p>According to the notification, the provincial government has also decided to give advance salary and pension to Hindu employees.<\/p>\n<p>Hindu employees will be paid their salary and pension by October 15 instead of November 1.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The federal government has decided to increase the housing rent of government employees by 85 percent.
