{"id":88504,"date":"2025-10-16T11:28:48","date_gmt":"2025-10-16T06:28:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=88504"},"modified":"2025-10-16T11:28:48","modified_gmt":"2025-10-16T06:28:48","slug":"15-dead-as-truck-falls-into-gorge-near-swat-motorway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/15-dead-as-truck-falls-into-gorge-near-swat-motorway\/","title":{"rendered":"15 dead as truck falls into gorge near Swat motorway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MALAKAND: Fifteen people were killed and eight others injured when a truck overturned and fell into a deep gorge near Swat Motorway Tunnel 3 in <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/jui-fs-mufti-kifayatullah-wife-injured-children-shot-dead-in-malakand\/\">Malakand district<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Motorway Police DSP Noorul Amin said that the accident occurred due to high speed, due to which the truck lost control and fell into a gorge hundreds of feet below.<\/p>\n<p>Emergency response, police teams and a large number of local residents reached the scene. The bodies and injured were immediately shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Batkhela.<\/p>\n<p>Rescue sources have confirmed that the condition of four of the injured is critical and they have been shifted to a hospital in Swat for advanced medical care.
