After recently revealing the key features of the GT 8 Pro, Realme has now turned its attention to the base model.<\/p>\n<p>The Realme GT 8 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, paired with the R1 gaming chip. It will sport a flat display with a 2K resolution with a refresh rate of 144Hz, just like the GT 8 Pro, and will feature an in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.<\/p>\n<p>On the back, the phone will feature a Ricoh GR triple rear camera setup. It will get a 50MP periscope telephoto unit that will offer 3.5x optical zoom. The device will lack the interchangeable camera housing as seen in the Pro model.<\/p>\n<p>Inside, the Realme GT 8 will house a 7,000mAh battery. The company has not revealed the charging details of the phone. The phone will run Android 16-based realme UI 7 out of the box and will offer five years of OS updates and security patches.<\/p>\n<p>The GT 8 will feature a glass and metal build and offer IP69+IP68+IP66 dust and water resistance.
