{"id":89345,"date":"2025-10-26T16:24:04","date_gmt":"2025-10-26T11:24:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=89345"},"modified":"2025-10-26T16:24:04","modified_gmt":"2025-10-26T11:24:04","slug":"govt-restores-domestic-gas-connections-nationwide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/govt-restores-domestic-gas-connections-nationwide\/","title":{"rendered":"Govt restores domestic gas connections nationwide"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Pakistan<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/pm-shehbaz-sharif-to-host-apc-today-in-islamabad\/\">\u00a0Shehbaz Sharif<\/a> has announced the opening of gas connections for domestic consumers across the country, fulfilling a long-standing demand of the people.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing a ceremony to restore domestic gas connections in Islamabad, the Prime Minister said that now new connections of Regasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) will be issued for domestic consumers across the country.<\/p>\n<p>The Prime Minister said that when the PDM government came to power in 2022, the country was facing many kinds of pressure. Due to gas shortage, it was not possible to provide new connections and every applicant had to be apologized to.<\/p>\n<p>Shehbaz Sharif said that at that time the gas infrastructure had been prepared, pipelines had been laid, but gas was not available.
