{"id":89558,"date":"2025-10-28T14:45:39","date_gmt":"2025-10-28T09:45:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=89558"},"modified":"2025-10-28T14:52:20","modified_gmt":"2025-10-28T09:52:20","slug":"pak-vs-sa-first-t20-match-scheduled-for-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/sports\/pak-vs-sa-first-t20-match-scheduled-for-today\/","title":{"rendered":"Pak vs SA: First T20 match scheduled for today"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>RAWALPINDI: The three-match T20 series between Pakistan and <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/sports\/muthusamys-steady-knock-puts-south-africa-ahead\/\">South Africa<\/a> is set to begin today in Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.<\/p>\n<p>The Pakistan team has introduced a special pink jersey to support the breast cancer awareness campaign during the match.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from the national players, the South African team, umpires, staff, and commentators will participate in this campaign by wearing pink ribbons.<\/p>\n<p>The stamps used in the match will also have pink branding, while awareness messages will be displayed around the field in this regard.<\/p>\n<p>Star batter Babar Azam is likely to come back in the team after a long break.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) unveiled a special <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/govt-announces-pink-taxi-scheme-for-women-eligibility-criteria-inside\/\">pink-themed kit<\/a>\u00a0for the Pakistan cricket team ahead of the\u00a0first T20I match\u00a0against South Africa, scheduled for October 28 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.<\/p>\n<p>The cricketing board said that national players will wear pink kits to raise awareness about breast cancer as part of the\u00a0<em>PINKtober<\/em>\u00a0initiative.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<span class=\"css-1jxf684 r-bcqeeo r-1ttztb7 r-qvutc0 r-poiln3\">Turning pink for a cause that matters,\u201d the PCB captioned a post on X sharing photos of players wearing pink kit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The PCB, in a separate post, announced that visitors can avail free clinical examination and screening on October 28 at the stadium in partnership with the Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer Trust Hospital, Lahore.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RAWALPINDI: The three-match T20 series between Pakistan and South Africa is set to begin today in Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
