ISLAMABAD: A spying attempt on former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has been foiled, on Saturday.<\/p>\n
According to sources, an employee of Bani Gala was paid to install a device in the former prime minister\u2019s bedroom. However, the spying attempt was foiled after another employee informed the security team about the installation of the device.<\/p>\n
After receiving information, the security team of Bani Gala detained the employee and handed him over to the federal police.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, PTI leader Shehbaz Gill has asserted that the party had pointed out several times that Imran Khan\u2019s life is in danger. \u201cIn this regard, we have informed all relevant agencies, including the government,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Shehbaz Gill claimed: \u201cAn employee \u2013 who cleans the former premier\u2019s room \u2013 was paid to install a spy device,\u201d terming the act \u2018 heinous and unfortunate\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur people are being threatened to get information. Such shameful acts should be avoided,\u201d he added. The PTI leader further said that the \u2018arrested\u2019 employee has made several revelations \u2013 which he refused to share at the moment.<\/p>\n
Earlier on June 23, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah rejected the claims of life \u2018threats\u2019 to former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan.<\/p>\n
