The decision has been rolled back now after feedback and discussions to make the standard more accessible for students of medicine and dentistry in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Along with the revision of passing marks, the PMDC relaxed the attendance requirement for medical students as well. While an 85% attendance rate was earlier compulsory, the council restored the 75% attendance requirement for the next session.<\/p>\n<p>The notification further told all medical universities to implement these changes without any delay in the 2024-2025 academic session.<\/p>\n<p>These changes are intended to make medical education more accessible, but still demanding for future doctors.
