{"id":90586,"date":"2025-11-07T16:17:57","date_gmt":"2025-11-07T11:17:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=90586"},"modified":"2025-11-07T16:18:18","modified_gmt":"2025-11-07T11:18:18","slug":"mediators-back-pakistan-in-ongoing-talks-with-afghan-regime","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/mediators-back-pakistan-in-ongoing-talks-with-afghan-regime\/","title":{"rendered":"Mediators back Pakistan in ongoing talks with Afghan Regime"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office Spokesperson has said that talks between Pakistan and the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/featured\/pakistan-resumes-talks-with-afghan-taliban-on-turkiyes-request\/\">Afghan Taliban<\/a> are ongoing in Istanbul, and the mediators in the talks fully support Pakistan\u2019s position.<\/p>\n<p>During the press briefing, Foreign Office Spokesperson Tahir Andrabi said that Pakistan has handed over evidence-based demands to the mediators.<\/p>\n<p>The mediators are discussing our demands point by point with the Afghan Taliban; do not pay attention to any kind of statement on social media.<\/p>\n<p>The spokesperson further said that Pakistan has a clear position that Afghan soil should not be used for terrorism.<\/p>\n<p>We express our condolences over the deaths in the earthquake in Afghanistan.<\/p>\n<p>He further said that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif is visiting Azerbaijan, and the Prime Minister will participate in the 5th anniversary of Azerbaijan\u2019s Victory Day in Baku.<\/p>\n<p>Tahir Andrabi said that the people of occupied Kashmir are facing Indian-sponsored or fatwa terrorism.<\/p>\n<p>The President presented the Pakistani government\u2019s position on the Kashmir issue while delivering a keynote address at the Doha Conference.<\/p>\n<p>He said that water is a matter of survival for Pakistan, violation of the Indus Waters Treaty is unacceptable under any circumstances, Pakistan condemns Israel&#8217;s violations of the Gaza ceasefire, and Israeli troops should withdraw from Palestinian territories.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office Spokesperson has said that talks between Pakistan and the Afghan Taliban are ongoing in Istanbul, and the mediators in the talks fully support Pakistan\u2019s position.
