{"id":90810,"date":"2025-11-10T16:43:19","date_gmt":"2025-11-10T11:43:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=90810"},"modified":"2025-11-10T16:43:19","modified_gmt":"2025-11-10T11:43:19","slug":"nadra-issues-new-alert-for-married-citizens-in-pakistan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/nadra-issues-new-alert-for-married-citizens-in-pakistan\/","title":{"rendered":"NADRA issues new alert for married citizens in Pakistan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/nadra-releases-new-advisory-to-married-citizens\/\">National Database and Registration Authority<\/a> (NADRA) has called upon all married citizens to update their marital status in the official records at the earliest to avoid any legal complications in the future.<\/p>\n<p>A recent Facebook post by the authority noted that although many have registered their marriages with the Union Council, they have not yet updated their marital status in the NADRA database.<\/p>\n<p>The authority has reiterated that such individuals should immediately go and get their marital status recorded correctly at the NADRA centers.<\/p>\n<p>This change is part of the ongoing effort of NADRA to keep actual and current information about citizens.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, NADRA has introduced an SMS service to notify the married citizens in this regard.<\/p>\n<h3>NADRA Martial Status Update Fee<\/h3>\n<p>NADRA charges Rs 100 for updating marital status on a CNIC in Pakistan.
