{"id":91031,"date":"2025-11-12T12:21:33","date_gmt":"2025-11-12T07:21:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=91031"},"modified":"2025-11-12T12:21:33","modified_gmt":"2025-11-12T07:21:33","slug":"karachi-traffic-police-to-use-robots-for-e-challans-next-month","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/karachi-traffic-police-to-use-robots-for-e-challans-next-month\/","title":{"rendered":"Karachi traffic police to use robots for e-challans next month"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"brxe-bridzr\" class=\"brxe-post-content wpf_news-content\">\n<p>KARACHI: <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/karachi\/karachi-traffic-police-issues-advisory-for-independence-day-celebrations-at-national-stadium\/\">Karachi Traffic Police<\/a> has decided to introduce robots to issue e-challans under the ongoing e-Trax system in the city to streamline the traffic enforcement system.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at a function in Karachi, DIG Traffic, Pir Muhammad Shah, revealed that the city will soon introduce a third method of issuing e-challans through the use of robots.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the robots will be deployed on various roads including Saddar and Tariq Roads from next month.<\/p>\n<p>The robots, which will travel at a speed of 20 kmph, will scan vehicles while moving and automatically issue e-challans to those violating parking or traffic regulations.<\/p>\n<p>The new initiative is expected to make the enforcement of traffic laws more effective and reduce human intervention in monitoring violations.<\/p>\n<p>It is also seen as part of wider efforts to enhance traffic management in Karachi.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the ongoing e-Track system, nearly 50,000 citizens have already received e-challans for traffic violations over the past two weeks.<\/p>\n<p>The new robot-powered method is expected to further strengthen the city\u2019s efforts in improving traffic management and road safety.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"brxe-psefmp\" class=\"brxe-divider news-detail__divider horizontal\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KARACHI: Karachi Traffic Police has decided to introduce robots to issue e-challans under the ongoing e-Trax system in the city to streamline the traffic enforcement system.
