{"id":91232,"date":"2025-11-14T11:54:31","date_gmt":"2025-11-14T06:54:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=91232"},"modified":"2025-11-14T11:54:31","modified_gmt":"2025-11-14T06:54:31","slug":"justice-aminuddin-khan-sworn-in-as-first-chief-justice-of-fcc-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/featured\/justice-aminuddin-khan-sworn-in-as-first-chief-justice-of-fcc-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Justice Aminuddin Khan sworn in as first Chief Justice of FCC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: Justice Aminuddin Khan, the first <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/chief-justices-of-ihc-phc-shc-take-oath-in-dignified-ceremonies\/\">Chief Justice<\/a> of the Federal Constitutional Court, took oath today at the Presidential Palace.<\/p>\n<p>President Asif Ali Zardari administered the oath to Justice Aminuddin during the ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif also attended the ceremony and senior officials of the judiciary and government were present on the occasion.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Yahya Afridi, also attended the ceremony and highlighted the historic occasion of the establishment of the Constitutional Court.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the President had approved the appointment of Justice Aminuddin Khan as the Chief Justice of the Federal Constitutional Court (<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/justice-aminuddin-tipped-to-lead-federal-constitutional-court\/\">FCC<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Justice Aminuddin will be the first Chief Justice of the Federal Constitutional Court.<\/p>\n<p>The President approved the appointment of Justice Aminuddin Khan on the advice of the Prime Minister.<\/p>\n<p>It should be noted that Justice Amin was previously the head of the Constitutional Bench and was retiring at the end of this month.<\/p>\n<p>Justice Khan was to retire from office on November 30.<\/p>\n<p>The Other Judges of the FCC may include Justice Aamir Farooq, Justice Ali Baqir Najfi, Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi, Chief Justice Baliochistan High Court Rozi Khan, and Justice K.K.
