KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan have witnessed a decrease after two consecutive days of a surge<\/a> in the local and international bullion markets.<\/p>\n

According to the All Pakistan Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola has decreased by Rs 3,300 to Rs 439,762.<\/p>\n

The association says that the price of 10 grams of gold has decreased by Rs 2,829 to Rs 377,025.<\/p>\n

The price of gold in the global market has decreased by $ 33 to $ 4,174 per ounce.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Gold prices<\/a>\u00a0touched new highs in local and international markets, driven by a surge in global bullion rates that crossed the $4,100-per-ounce threshold.<\/p>\n

In Pakistan, the price of gold in Pakistan jumped by Rs 8,300 per tola, reaching Rs4,43,062, while the rate for 10 grams increased by Rs 7,116 to settle at Rs 3,79,854.<\/p>\n

In the international market, gold prices climbed by $59 per ounce, hitting $4,134, whereas silver also posted gains, rising by $1.44 to $51 per ounce.<\/p>\n
