Previously, schools operating under PEF did not have a Saturday off.<\/p>\n<p>Concurrently, the school timings have been revised to the following: from 8:45 am to 1:30 pm, while schools will close at 12:30 pm on Fridays.<\/p>\n<p>These timings will be valid until April 15, 2026. Last month, the Punjab Education Foundation kick-started a major recruitment process with over 100 posts available in different departments.<\/p>\n<p>The hiring list also includes eight Subject Specialist posts in core subjects and posts of Network Support Engineers, Executive Assistants, and more. Meanwhile, PEF announced 10 Driver posts that carry a salary of Rs 57,500 per month.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, various private schools in Punjab have been found flouting government instructions to avoid sending children on outings outdoors due to rising smog levels.<\/p>\n<p>Disregarding the ban imposed province-wide, these institutions have continued making arrangements for the outings of their students to places like Joyland, Jallo Park, Safari Park, and even the Lahore Zoo.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: The Punjab Education Foundation has announced that henceforth, its partner schools shall observe Saturday as a holiday.
