KARACHI: Gold prices<\/a> touched new highs in local and international markets, driven by a surge in global bullion rates that crossed the $4,083-per-ounce threshold.<\/p>\n

In Pakistan, the price of gold decreased by Rs 9,000 per tola, to Rs 430,662, while the rate for 10 grams decreased by Rs 7,799 to Rs 369,223.<\/p>\n

In the international market, gold prices climbed by $59 per ounce, hitting $4,134, whereas silver also posted gains, rising by $1.44 to $51 per ounce.<\/p>\n
